am i a total nerd?
I had assumed most people, if not everyone, would know who George Takei is. How wrong I was. Anyways, I went to see him speak at an undergrad Northwestern event, and he was really awesome. I wonder how Jerry Springer did as the law school's commencement speaker.

I wish I'd have gone to see Takei also - I'm quite envious!
Apparently (according to Rahul) Springer was good.
I really should have invited more people. One of the undergrads took a picture for me of me and Takei, but I'm still waiting for her to email it for me.
Now that I'm blogging, I'll be sure to post in advance any event that I plan on attending.
